The client

Baxter is a US business that focuses on providing healthcare products. Baxter is uniquely positioned to enhance providers’ delivery of quality care at hospitals, private homes, and renal care clinics. Baxter’s extensive global reach helps the company play a significant role in driving access to cost-effective care.

The challenge

To convert an already code app into a more visually appealing solution for the users in only 3 days.

My role

I was the lead UI designer, but I also recommended and discussed some modifications to render it more usable.

This project made me realize the challenges that arise when a whole project for such an important client needs to be delivered in a race against the clock. With the client there to immediately see the result was a great way to learn how to enhance a conversation for a better way to design an app.

Working so closely with an engineer has also been a very valuable learning experience. Being side by side with the developers just to know if the solution you think is possible was an advantage.

Because of this project, I’m getting better at asking questions, surfacing and resolving concerns, and understanding the opportunities and limitations of the web.
